I need tampon help/advice/seriious pep talking?

i've attempted before...i don't know why i can't do it...what it my hymen pops..what f it gets stuck...i once put it in the wrong hole...i need one 4 tonight and i don't know what to do. i just can't bring myself to do it..i get so emotional wen i talk about it and i always cry wen i go to do itI need tampon help/advice/seriious pep talking?
my friend was like that too. she really wanted to go swimming and wear a tampon, and about after an hour in the bathroom i was like


';are you coming out!??!'; and i barged in.


the poor girl was beside herself. she had absolutely no idea what to do. so she ended up wearing a pad.


no biggie. a lot of girls don't start wearing tampons for a long time. if you really get that stressed out about it, then maybe you're not ready. In time you will be, but if you're not, don't stress about it. i'm not either. i get scared just thinking about it. yipes!


my friend and i have a joke about it now. she came out of the bathroom and was like

I was terrified the first time I had to use a tampon. I was going to the water park with all my friends and there was no way I could go using a pad. It should not pop your hymen or get stuck so try not to worry about that. If you a relaxed it will make it much easier. First find the most comfortable position. It may help you to stand and put one foot on the toilet or bathtub that way you can use a mirror to help guide yourself. Use one hand to separate the lips so you can find the opening easily. Then just gently slide it in. Almost everyone I know was scared the first time they used tampons and a lot of people make mistakes so it is nothing to be embarrassed about. I probably looked at the diagram that comes with the instructions for an hour before I got up the nerve to try the first time. The good news is once you get it right you feel way better. You might want to practice putting it in and taking it out a few times before tonight so you won't be nervous later.
read what Cheyney said because i totally agree, but one thing she forgot is that you don't want to stick it straight in. it will hurt a little if you don't put it in at an angle. you need to angle it so that the top is going more towards your back, but only a LITTLE bit. if it hurts at ALL: stop, take it out, and try again. it shouldn't hurt at ALL. you'd be surprised at how far up it goes in. don't be scared, it doesn't hurt. you won't put it in the wrong hole either lol you only really have 2 holes, your butt (waaaay to far back) and the RIGHT hole. it won't get stuck because it's not possible for it to actually get into your uterus, only goes in the opening. the string is long and will hang out so you can just RELAX and slowely pull it out after about 2 or 3 hours. i recommend using the new super skinny playtex gentle glide tampons because they're really small and they don't hurt at all, especially for your first time.
Okay, a tampon is really so much better than a pad, and you'll love it once you have the hang of it.


Make sure you're relaxed and sitting down (or you can lie on your back). Grip the tampon at the base and place your pointer finger on the plunger. RELAX. It doesn't hurt. (: A plastic applicator is more comfortable. Slide it in until the base is at the opening, then slowly press the plunger in. It will be an odd feeling, but it won't hurt.


Maybe have your mom talk to you while you do it or a really close girlfriend. (:
Your hymn wont pop and it cant get stick there is no where for it to go the area is so small it cant get lost or anything. There is only one whole where you should be putting it in and it is pretty hard to mix it up with the other hole!Try and relax when you are doing it it will make it much easier when your relaxed you have nothing to worry about it. You can do it and you ll be fine a bit of practice and you ll be wondering what you were so worried about! All the best!
If it is that big of a deal honey, stick to pads... If a tampon breaks your hymen, you are still a virgin, because you have not had sex yet. It is not possible to put it in the wrong hole cause your pee hole is the size of a needle head, and you know where your booty hole is, so its the one in the middle. Ask your mom for help. By the way, I started off with a brand called OB they are tiny! and they can't get lost in there because you have the string to pull it out with. NEVER CUT THE STRING. It wont hurt. You'll be fine.
ive put at least 300 tampons in and NOTHING has gone wrong. just stay calm.

U have to slant it towards ur stomach.


just dont stop until it feels good.


If its uncomfortable then maybe try pads?
