Help I am a college student and I need advice?

I just found out that I don't have enough financial aid to go back to school. I live in a small town and there are no colleges here. Some colleges have started and others will nexgt week. What should I do should I just go to a tech school or should I wait and see what will happen next semester with financial aidHelp I am a college student and I need advice?
Can you go to school and work? I know it is tough.. but I did it, and so are a lot of other people. You may need to go to school part time, until you can get more money for school.





Try to find an assistantship or a professor that needs help with some of their research. They may be able to pay for some of your schooling with a felowship or assistantship or something (even as an undergrad). Scholarships, grants.. I am sure you have looked into those.





Some schools have a tutoring program where you are given an assistantship to help tutor athletes or other students. I know a few people that have done this.

Can you work for a year and then try again?
What do you mean by ';don't have enough financial aid?'; Do you mean grants and scholarships, or just subsidized loans? Consider a loan if you really want it. Most tech school credits don't transfer, and a lot of credits at community colleges don't transfer. You need to be very careful on the classes you take at a community college. Go talk to the financial aid office and they can give you a better idea of what to do.
well the same thing happened to me (long story though). I had to resort to taking out a loan. I also know that others have just worked for a semester or two to save up some money, applied for financial aid again, and just went back after that. Is that an option for you?
Get a student loan, apply for financial aid, check to see if you qualify for veterens benefits. (If you dad was a vet, you might get some dough) Some colleges even offer short term cash loans.
I think there are lots of options worth looking into:





If you are just a few thousand short, see about getting an on campus job to pay it down.





Does this include student loans?





Is there relative near by that you can live with to avoid room %26amp; board.





Is a community college an option to complete some general requirements.





Take a semester to work, and build up some money.
