So there's this girl that works at the mcdonalds drive thru, i need advice! Help!!?

Here's the story, i know it's long but i'm really not sure what to do





So a few days ago my friend and I were going through a mcdonalds drive thru.. when we got to the window to get the food, there was a girl working there. I thought she was really cute. And she seemed really nice. Our order messed up so we had to pull forward and some guy brought the food out. When we drove off I said to my friend ';That girl was cute, I think I might go back and ask her for her number'; and my friend was like ';Do it man!';. So we ate our food and went back through the drive thru. Once arriving at the window, I said ';Hey im back!'; to the girl and she smiled and said ';Hey!'; Then as she handed me my drink I said ';I had to pull forward earlier so I didnt get a chance to ask you for your number'; and she said ';Ohh... now's not really a good time'; and I said ';oh ok'; and she said ';Yea well I'll see ya around.'; So I drove off. Dissapointed :(. But I was thinking... maybe I can go back in a few days when she's working and when I get to the window just be nice and start a casual conversation. For example just start with ';Hey how are you?'; and if she seems interested in talking then before I leave I can be like ';Well i know youre working so i was thinkin maybe I can give you my number and you can text me later when you get off if you want?'; Then if she wants it I'll wrte it down and give it to her...





So here is the question and the advice I need... Is my plan to go back a good idea? I don't want to give up unless I know for sure shes not interested. I mean she coulda said ';now's not a good time'; meaning she was at work or somthing.. but at least by offering her my number she has the option, making it clear wether she wants to talk to me or not. Any pointers or advice or tips or anything that would help this situation would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds to me like a polite way for her to say ';no thanks'; If she was interested, she would have found some way to give her # to you or ask you for yours. maybe she doesnt want 2 get caught not working dats y, maybe just write ur number n give it 2 her real fast while u drive 2 get food. den if she calls u shell like u n den ask her 2 go on a date with u wen shes free from work.
