To answer your question, ask them if they both want to hang out. I would suggest taking a friend along, or go and hang out at the parents place. You can see about developing the relationship and then if it develops you might need to talk about getting some surgery done to separate them (unless you are from one of those cultures which allows multiple wives).
The issue of conjoined twins came up in the movie ';stuck on you';. While the movie was about a pair of males who were non-identical they still tried to maintain a normal existence, very brave of them and admirable, but eventually they were separated. The film details some of their relationship problems as a result of their configuration.
