I would ask your doctor for another blood test... demand it in fact!! It is probably nothing. I experienced this early on and had a blodd test and an ultrasound and the following week another ultrasound in which they found the heartbeat so they had no need for another blood test. But if you don't get some definite answers you are going to stress. Your hcg sounds good, but any doctor should know that it is not just about the quantitative measure but the qualitative (how much it goes up over time)

GOod luck... I'm sure everything is fineI am in my 6th week of pregnancy,i really need ur advice, pls help?
a lot of women have spotting in early and some all the way through a pregnancy. I would not worry too much, but you should contact your Dr to ease your mind.

good luck and congrats!
I started spotting when I was 5.5 weeks till the 8th week and I went directly to the ER cause I felt my DR wasn't really taking me seriously and atleast they did and US and some blood work and repeated it a few days later, I'm 19 weeks pregnant and everything's going smooth.
try not to worry that makes stress on the baby. I know it's hard but do thing to keep your mind off it.
Sometimes you can still spot and have discharge for the first couple months. The discharge itself can actually last the entire pregnany. However with that being said, I would call the ER and talk to a nurse there. They will probably tell you that if you are concerned to come on in. Which wouldn't hurt. They can do an ultrasound to ease your mind. If at anytime during a pregnancy you get concerned or worried, don't just ';let it go';. Chances are, it may not be anything serious, but it is better to be safe than sorry.... Good Luck!!
You may have a vaginal infection. That would lead to a discharge and it could irritate your cervix and make it bleed a little. I would see your doctor again.
I had the same problem in early pregnancy with both of my kids. My doctor told me that it is implantation bleeding. When you think about it, the baby has to find a good healthy spot to implant at and there is usually some bleeding. Some women have more severe signs than others. I would google implantation bleeding to ease your mind, ask your doctor, and if you are still worried see if they will do a transvaginal ultrasound. They will be able to see everything then and give you piece of mind.
