I'm going to the Summer Slaughter tour, it will be my first show ever ADVICE/HELP!?

Hey! Well, i'm going to be attending my first show ever on the 26th and i need help, I'm kinda nervous. It's going to be the 'Summer Slaughter' tour, which is a bunch of deathcore/metal bands(I know, I know, not a good choice for a first concert!). I'm 14 and about 5'2 and I need some good advice on what to expect/avoid. I'll be with a friend who's 16 with me. First off, if anyone's been to Summer Slaughter before: Can i buy tickets at the gate?? Second, how can i avoid getting caught in a moshpit while still being at the front? What should I wear? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!%26lt;3I'm going to the Summer Slaughter tour, it will be my first show ever ADVICE/HELP!?
First of all, forget everything that Icea3 said. Skinny pants? This is Summer Slaughter, not Warped Tour. What you wear doesn't really matter, though most people will be dressed up in a band shirt and jeans. If you don't want to stick out, I'd do the same. However, I've gone to shows in a soccer shirt (not a jersy, lol) and camo shorts, and nobody said anything about it, so you'll probably be fine with wearing whatever.

Avoiding the mosh is pretty easy, especially if you're on/near the rail (front). The mosh usually doesn't get any closer than 5 rows back from the rail, so it shouldn't be a problem. Expect it to get really crowded, especially during the more popular bands. Being on the rail is a blast, but it gets pretty intense. I've bruised ribs on the rail, and I've seen many people (usually younger people) pass out in the middle of the show. The rail is a blast, but the most important thing about concerts is having fun. So if you're not enjoying yourself because you're in pain/can't breathe etc. I'd reccomend moving back a few rows.

Watch for crowd surfers, as their feet will likely kick you in the back of the head if you're not careful. When they do, I like to punch them in the back as they go over, to even the score. ; )

The last thing I'd reccomend is about money. What I like to do is leave my wallet at home and store 40ish bucks in that little pocket inside the big pocket (usually on the right hand side. hopefully you know what I mean, heheh). I almost always buy at least one shirt, mainly so I can have something to remember the show by (a t-shirt usually runs about 25 bucks). After the show, I like to find the nearest convenience store and get a water bottle, as it gets really hot inside the venue. I don't know how many people do this, but my friends and I have made it tradition to hit up Denny's after the show.

Anyway, concerts are a blast, and I wish you luck. Unfortunately I won't be able to attend Summer Slaughter this year, as I'm attending the summer term and don't have the time. Sounds like it's gonna be a kick-*** show though. : )I'm going to the Summer Slaughter tour, it will be my first show ever ADVICE/HELP!?
Being in the front is a bad idea if it's your FIRST time.

You'll die, haha. Even at the Panic At The Disco concert, things were CRAZY. I was in the front and people kept pushing and ramming me into the bar. Wear good shoes and double knot them. My friend lost her shoe and it was thrown around the crowd. Wear someone comfortable.

Idk :D
First of all, cover up, wear sneakers, dress comfortably.

Second, moshing doesn't happen up front it happens in the middle. If you make it up front, you'll just feel some pushing.

As for tickets at the door, it depends on the show.

So, stay close to the front, dress comfortably, and have a good time.
Wear pants. No matter how hot it is, wear pants.

Also, invest in a pair of good shoes that won't hurt if you get stepped on. My second hand Doc Martins are the best purchase I ever made.

Keep an eye on where the mosh pits are and where they are growing to. You might just want to avoid being at the front. But, I love a good mosh so don't knock it till you've tries it!
wear like skinny jeans

and like converses/vans

and like a shirt that is not overly bright
