hi i am a student midwife, you can have false negatives and false positives. However for any positive to occur there must be hormones detected in your urine. It could be your HCG count is between 5-25 which is inconclusive at the time. Some tests are more sensitive to this hormone than others.
you also need to do thid test with a morning mid urine sample. wee a little stop then wee in a cup and stop.
It is correct you not likely to get pregnant during your period but it can live for 5 days in you.
Wait a few days or a week, and then do another, you can also get a blood test done at your dr.
Good luckNEED ADVICE AND HELP ON IF I'M PREGNANT OR NOT?
Generally you do not get pregnant while you are on your period, however sperm can live up to 5 days in a womans reproductive system. You should buy another test and take it in the morning because morning urine is more precise in detecting the pregnancy hormone HCG. If you are pregnant set up a Prenatal appointment, if your not you should set up an appointment with your doctor to find out what is going on.
I really don't think you can get pregnant while on your period...and it's not been the entire month yet...calm down and just relax...the more you stress about it the longer your body will hold back...That's what happened to me, I stressed about it and It was nearly a month and a half before mine came. And your nippels could be sore because your close to getting your period
You can't get pregnant if you did that on your period. You ovulate about 1-2wks after your period, and thats the only time you can get pregnant. Your period may just be late (stress, illness etc can cause this). Sore nipples could be a sign before your next period. Give it another week or so.
Top Ten Symptoms
missed menstrual period
nausea
extreme fatigue
frequent urination
tender breasts
headache
heartburn
constipation
spotting
feeling faint
Also the test is the only way to go
It is unusual to get pregnant on your period. But its not impossible. It has happened to some people but it is unlikely.
I suggest you should take another pregnancy test, for a sperm to survive during your period is a bit unlikely but still possible. (no one really gets any symptoms for at least 2 months).
take a test with the first mornings pee
you might have to wait a while to do another test..
sore nipples and sore back and tummy might mean ur pregnant
