Wow that was difficult to read.

H1-N1Virus (Swine Flu) is not transmitted airborne so the use of a mask is irrelevant.

None the less you should not be in contact with anyone, go to a hospital... Unless of course your a troll then go under a bridge.

((EDIT: ';How is the swine flu transmitted?

The swine flu is transmitted just the way any viral disease is transmitted -- person-to-person contact, by touching something someone with a virus has already touched, or from droplets in the air which come from a sneeze or a cough of a person who has the swine flu.';

So, you do NOT get the H1-N1 Virus from breathing the air in the same room as someone with the virus, it is NOT an airborne virus, the only way it can become airborne is if it is projected as in a cough or a sneeze. So unless someone is coughing or sneezing in your face a mask is not going to be of any help, and if they do cough or sneeze in your face anyplace that spittle hits you (face, back, arms) it has a chance of infection. So again I will say a mask does little good when dealing with this virus.

Also I am not a Public Health Officer, though I am HCA certified and spent a good amount of time as the Security Director of a major hospital in Florida, regularly giving classes in infectious control and MRSA))I am a school bus driver to a school who has swine fly need advice HELP was this wrong?
';be punished for it';??
The World Health Organization has listed the swine flu as a pandemic which is the highest level it can give anything. So far 141 people have died from it and almost half of them were young and healthy. Your school should be treating this as seriously as it is. As a school bus driver you are in contact with tons of kids. Also they are saying that people have the swine flu up to three days before they show any symptoms of it. They have admitted that a mask may not stop the flu from spreading, the gloves and wipes will probably help you more. At the same time you are in closed spaces with these kids so it may be easier for you to catch the swine flu through the air then a teacher.

It is sorry to hear that your school refuses to take this deadly flu seriously. If they punish you, I would contact a lawyer and the CDC (Center for Disease Control). This school isn't taking it seriously and they need to be shut down before they kill some of the children.

Also don't listen to that person who claims to be a public health officer. I attached a link to the CDC's information. The swine flu can be transmitted through the air.
