Take a deep breath and let it go. You lost NOTHING. Try to understand the enormous gain you have made in this lesson. We pay tens of thousands of dollars for college educations and think nothing of it. ANYTHING like what just happened to you that we learn from, even the hard way, is priceless to us. You are not in this journey only for the you of the moment. The you of tomorrow is most grateful for your hard earned wisdom. Let it go. This happens a lot in life. There's a priceless grace to be found in getting really serious about seeing our ';mistakes'; as valuable to us in the long run. Do not add insult to injury by wallowing in the wake of your past errors. Get your face back in the refreshing breeze at the bow of your ship and sail on most confidently.Regretting a Mistake. Need advice. Help?
Thanks, Hurting. Here is a beautiful and amazing image that I've been sharing with people this week:

This is what I tell my daughter, ';It was a good learning experience.'; Don't beat yourself up. We all make mistakes. I can beat yours. I went to college for five years, didn't get a degree, hated my major, and am now paying back my student loans on a hostess wage!!
first of all, you should forgive yourself. mistakes are meant to be made because they turn you to the right direction. instead of wasting your time regretting for the mistake that you had done, try turning this mistake into something positive. for example, you may have missed this oppurtunity but perhaps the next time you're offered a promotion, you will get a better one. you should also focus more on your performance rather than worrying about your mistake so that your boss will realise that you truly deserve more.
That is the past; now is the future. You had an awesome opportunity but you said no. Dont worry-- Stuff happen.
That door closed on you, but look around-there are many other doors welcoming you. Dont give up...You might find a better job. Good Luck!
