Help! Advice on piercings?

What is the worst possible thing that could happen to you if you get your nipple pierced? Could you loose feeling? will your nipple screw up?Help! Advice on piercings?
I took my piercings out when I got pregnant. After I had my first baby and my milk came it was shooting out the side of the piercing!

Oh- to the person above me- that's a crock of poop. I've breastfed both my kids, and have had both my nipples pierced. In fact, I've spent a total of 2 1/2 years of my life breastfeeding children.Help! Advice on piercings?

For one, you will definitely be able to breastfeed. One piece of jewelry will not affect that- you have numerous milk ducts.


It is recommended to take the jewelry out while the baby breastfeeds, of course.





It's always possible to lose feeling in any area that has been pierced, but it is highly unlikely.

They usually take about a year to heal, though it can be longer.
The worst thing is it could get infected or it can reject the peircing which means the ring will break the skin and it will fall out. It will only leave a scar and if you use cocoa butter on it it should become less visable. No it will not lose feeling. It will actually make them more sensative and help increase sexual arousal. Your nipple will not screw up it will just look hard most of the time but thats it. Hope I could help.
If it gets infected it could be misshaped when you take it out. Like a scar kinda.
you can loose feeling and it can be misshapen if it gets infected. Also, if they pierce it wrong you won't be able to breast feed if you choose when you have children. Also, consider your brest size, will you be able to go for a week with out a bra or more if it does get infected
I don't know the worst possible, but I made my boyfriend take his out because I hated it, and now he has one normal nipple and one huge, oversized, ridiculous looking nipple!

Like any other piercing if not taken well care of it will get infected. Yes some women notice they lost feeling there because the actual piercing will be going through a bundle of nerves, nipples are one body part that has lots of nerve endings.
